I'm a cognitive scientist by training and an industrial technology educator by trade. I'm interested in how people understand, learn, and work with complex technical systems. In my research, that has meant studying writing processes through keystroke logging. In my teaching, it means helping students make sense of CNC machining and industrial processes. This website collects that work, along with technical documentation and broader writing on philosophy, technology, film, and books.
